A comprehensive aviation altimeter designed to operate on your Apple Watch Series 3 or newer models!

This altimeter empowers you to configure the field altimeter setting (QNH) and display Altitude in Feet, Meters, or Flight Level. It also provides an option to show the raw barometric pressure. The Kollsman window allows adjusting the local pressure using either inches of mercury or hectoPascals (millibars), catering to international standards.

Upon installing the app from your smartphone and customizing preferences through the companion iPhone App, the watch Altimeter becomes fully independent of the phone. Operating without close proximity to the phone or an internet connection is seamless. Preferences can be modified directly on the watch interface by swiping left.

By swiping to the right, users access the current density altitude, which is adjusted using the watch crown to set the ambient temperature. Tapping the AltAlert button enables users to establish a target altitude and corresponding range. Visual cues promptly indicate any deviations from the predefined altitude range.

An additional highlight of this app is an oxygen alarm that provides haptic and visual alerts upon surpassing 12,500 ft. Noteworthy is that this alarm feature only functions when the Altimeter app is active on the watch face.

Please note that while this app has undergone flight testing, it does not hold FAA TSO certification and cannot be utilized as a primary flight instrument.

Compatibility is exclusive to Apple Series 3 and subsequent iterations of the Apple Watch. Users are advised to enable access to Fitness & Motion sensors in "Settings" for optimal functionality.

In summary: Swipe left for unit configuration, swipe right for Density Altitude information, tap the left button to fine-tune Station Pressure, and tap the right button for personalized Alert Alert settings.
